Camp Cards

Scouts Funding Their Own Adventure

Camp Cards are designed to help Scouts earn their own way to camp programs and activities throughout the year. This low-risk unit sales project allows every Scout the opportunity to support their Scouting experience.

What Can Scouts Earn Their Way To?

  • Cub Day Camps
  • Summer Camp at Black Creek Scout Reservation
  • Council and District Camps at BCSR and Tolochee
  • BSA High Adventure Camps (Philmont, Sea Base, Northern Tier, Summit Bechtel Reserve)
  • Other unit activities
  • General unit program and camping needs

How It Works

  • Camp Cards sell for $10
  • Each card includes multiple food, service, and entertainment discounts
  • Discounts are valid throughout the year
  • Units earn 50% commission ($5 per card sold)

Scout Incentives

  • CARD CRITTER Patch for selling 10 or more cards
  • Nintendo Switch for the top seller in the Council
  • One entry into a Nintendo Switch Lite drawing for every 10 cards sold
Camp Cards are easy to sell to neighbors, friends, and family — and the program often pays for itself.

Use of Proceeds

Camp Card commissions are encouraged to be applied toward directly sending youth to Summer Camp programs, but funds may be used as the unit committee sees fit to support the overall Scouting program.

A Win-Win Opportunity

  • Helps families save money
  • Builds Scout confidence
  • Supports local businesses
  • Funds meaningful Scouting experiences
