Black Creek Scout Reservation is in Screven County, Georgia and opened in the summer of 2012. This 380-acre camp is located on the banks of Black Creek and whose name is an accurate preservation of its native Creek name, Weelustee (“black water”). The camp is situated between rolling hills, hunting club preserves, pine tree farms, and diverse plant and wildlife including a large deer population, wild turkeys, birds and reptiles of all kinds. The camp features a private lake with boating, swimming and fishing. It also boasts a 60ft climbing tower, low and high ropes courses, archery and rifle ranges, shotgun range for skeet and trap shooting, and our state-of-the-art, 250 seat, air-conditioned Reese Dining Hall.
